We're a group of high school students in Lexington, Massachusetts who believe the people on the front lines of healthcare deserve to be seen, thanked, and supported.
Code Care is a student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing and supporting healthcare workers. Through the help of over 100 volunteers, we've delivered more than 500 blankets, handwritten cards, and care items to hospital staff.
We also interview nurses to share their personal stories, highlight their contributions, and express appreciation for the dedication and compassion they bring to our communities — and to the patients in their care.
Our work rests on three convictions:
{{PLACEHOLDER: 1–2 sentences on the moment that sparked Code Care — what you saw, who inspired it, what need you noticed.}}
{{PLACEHOLDER: Describe the first care package delivery — where it went, how many items, what the response was.}}
{{PLACEHOLDER: When volunteer count hit three digits and how word spread through the community.}}
{{PLACEHOLDER: The milestone of surpassing 500 deliveries — and what it meant.}}
We continue to run deliveries, expand our nurse story interviews, and welcome new volunteers across our community.
The students who show up each week to make the work happen.
